
We use Kirkpatrick’s model to evaluate the impact of the intervention, but also go deeper to assess our impact through facilitated focus groups with all stakeholders. Our current list of organizational clients includes the DC Housing Authority, DC Department of Employment Services, and others.
“I learned so much in two weeks that I will treasure forever. This is the first program that I felt really comfortable speaking up, because I was genuinely interested in all the topics. It’s bittersweet the program will be ending soon, but I know by implementing what I’ve learned, I will be successful in making decisions for myself.

Seedling is an award-winning financial literacy company, helping to plant the seeds of financial knowledge to help users understand how money works and provides resources to help them become financially fit, confident, and competent. In our most recent engagement with the , Seedling spoke to our young leaders from the DC Department of Employment Services’ East of the River Career Pathway Program about the importance of saving, budgeting, building good credit, and making data-informed financial decisions. Thank you to our partners at Seedling for giving our Next Generation leaders the building blocks for the future they can look forward to.


Our private sector counterpart, Innergrow Integrated Coaching LCC was recognized with a Certificate of Service and Impact (see photo on the left) by the DC Department of Employment Services for its work with youth, assisting them with work readiness training, financial literacy education, life and career coaching. We are honored by this recognition, and the opportunity to serve our young people living in the underserved neighborhoods in our nation’s capital.
Just wrapped up our work readiness training with the DC Department of Employment Services’ East of the River Career Pathway Program with youth ages 18-24 from Wards 7 and 8! Together with these young leaders we explored professional development, holding difficult conversations , emotional intelligence, career readiness, delivering a “killer” elevator pitch, social media training, and heard from a myriad of inspiring motivational speakers and industry leaders: Precious L. Williams “Killer Pitch Master”, Portia Obeng, Pernether (MS. P) Pratt, Kena Cofield Jones, Paul “Big South” Taylor, Amobi Okugo and others! Our young leaders walked away empowered and transformed! Thank you to all those who made this such a powerful experience for our Next Generation leaders!


Our team at SoulFull Life University is proud to have partnered with the DC Housing Authority in July 2022 to offer leadership training and peer coaching support to the participants of the Summer Youth Employment Program. Working with the interns, we worked through their results taking the Indigo Assessment, which was followed up with additional training on emotional intelligence, professional growth, wellness and belonging.
Working with winners of the Commitment to Excellence Scholarship Program (see photo on the left with Cheryl Robertson and recipients of the 2022 Scholarships), we also hosted wisdom circles on topics on financial wellness and overcoming limiting beliefs in accomplishing one’s personal goals.
